“ONE-STOP FACTORY” solution

Leading the all-in-one trend, helping businesses save time and costs in mechanical component manufacturing and assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Does SASI offer full-service outsourcing, from mechanical work to surface coating?

Yes. SSI operates on a one-stop manufacturing service model to help customers optimize costs and easily manage quality:

  • Precision machining: Fiber laser cutting, CNC punching, stamping, bending, robotic welding/TIG/MIG welding, and detailed machining.

  • Surface treatment & coating: Fully automated surface chemical pretreatment, electrophoretic coating (ED/E-coating), and powder coating.

  • Assembly & packaging: Support for assembling sub-assemblies and packaging according to export standards.

The in-house manufacturing process at SASI eliminates the risk of impact/scratch damage during intermediate transportation, shortens total production time by 20–30%, and consolidates quality responsibility at a single point of contact.

2. What are the advantages of ED Coating service at SASI compared to conventional painting?

SASI’s ED and powder coating systems are invested in according to automotive industry standards with outstanding technical advantages:

  • Absolute Coverage (ED Coating): Electrophoretic penetration technology ensures 100% even paint adhesion to narrow gaps, open/closed pipe structures, and hidden corners that conventional spray paint cannot reach.

  • High corrosion resistance: The ED coating acts as a high-grade anti-corrosion primer, meeting salt spray test standards for 500 to over 1,000 hours depending on the paint system requirements.

  • Mechanical durability & aesthetics: Powder coating provides a variety of glossy/matte/textured surfaces, UV protection, good impact resistance, and mild chemical resistance.

  • Environmentally friendly: The ED paint line uses water-based paints with extremely low VOC content, meeting stringent environmental standards.

3. How does SASI control the quality (QC) of machined parts and paint finishes?

SASI applies a rigorous quality control process according to ISO 9001:2015 standards through 3 stages:

  • IQC (Incoming Quality Control): Checking certificates of origin (Co/Cq), thickness, surface finish of raw materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) and paint chemicals.

  • PQC (In-Process Quality Control): Measure the dimensions of each stage (cutting, bending, welding) using precision measuring equipment. Check the concentration of chemicals in the bath, the voltage of the ED paint, and the drying temperature hourly.

  • FQC (Finished Quality Control):

    • Check the geometric dimensions and welds.

    • Paint film thickness measurement (Coating Thickness Gauge).

    • Paint film adhesion test (Cross-hatch Cut Test / Grid Test).

    • Impact testing and salt spray resistance testing are performed periodically in the laboratory.

4. Does SASI accept small quantity orders (prototypes/samples) or only mass production orders?

SISA accompanies customers at every stage of product development:

  • Prototype/Sample Manufacturing: We manufacture 1–5 prototype products for customers to test, check functionality, and approve the paint finish aesthetics before mass production.

  • Pilot run: Receive small/medium-sized shipments for customers to evaluate the market.

  • Mass production: Automated production lines enable SSI to maintain a production capacity of tens of thousands of products per month at the most optimal cost.

5. How does SASI ensure timely delivery for urgent or large-scale orders?

We manage production schedules based on fundamental factors:

  • Scale & Infrastructure: Located in the Ho Chi Minh City Automotive Mechanical Industrial Park with a large factory area, fully equipped with high-capacity machinery operating flexibly in shifts.

  • ERP/MES Planning System: The entire production process, from raw materials to painting and packaging, is monitored in real-time, minimizing downtime.

  • Proactive Material Supply: SSI maintains a stable supply chain and standard raw material inventory, enabling production to be activated immediately upon order confirmation.

6. How long does SISA's quotation process take and what information do we need from the customer?

Response time: SASI will send a detailed quotation within 24-48 hours of receiving all necessary input.

Information needed for the quickest response:

    1. Technical drawing file (CAD format) .dwg/.dxf or 3D .step/.igs & file .pdf (with tolerance notes).

    2. Material requirements (SS400 steel, SECC, 304 stainless steel, aluminum…).

    3. Surface treatment specifications (ED coating, powder coating, required paint film thickness, etc.).

    4. Order quantity (Number of samples and expected mass production quantity/month).
